My name is Sarah, and I’m raising funds to help cover my grandmother’s assisted living expenses.

My grandmother — who we all call Nana — has always been the steady heart of our family. She raised three children, worked part-time at the local library for over 20 years, and never missed a single school play, recital, or birthday. She’s the kind of person who remembers everyone’s favorite dessert and still sends handwritten cards.

Over the past year, her health has declined to the point where assisted living is the safest option. While we’re incredibly grateful she’s in a caring and supportive community, the monthly costs are more than our family can manage alone.

Her assisted living costs $4,800 per month. After applying her savings and Social Security benefits, we still face a gap of about $1,500 each month.
